Mother Goose Time Giveaway Hop

This  is so exciting!  Some of the blog ambassadors for Mother Goose Time and I are doing a Giveaway Hop.  We are each reviewing a few books and then giving them away!
We are doing all of this to celebrate the addition of these amazing books to Amazon.  Previously these books were only available in Mother Goose Time curriculum kits.
At the end of this post I will link up to the other blogs so you can hop on over and enter all the giveaways.  That should better your odds of a win.  Yay!

One Winner will win all four of the following books.  The books will be mailed from Mother Goose Time.

Ocean Animals A-Z by Leslie Falconer

Summary: Each letter of the alphabet is matched with an ocean animal in this colorful and interactive children's book. The child says and traces letters with fingers, fists, toes and even their nose while they act out some of the animal's characteristics.

Review: Full color book one side has a giant letter in block format and the facing page has an ocean creature with a one sentence detail about that creature.  Underneath is a direction on how to trace the letter, it goes along with a characteristic of the creature.  My preschooler was giggling all the way through it.  His favorite pages are:
He touches each polyp circle.  As he does he says "touch"

This is a riot, he traces the "T" with his toes and thinks it is hilarious.

Warning: Make sure your child doesn't have a runny nose when tracing the "U"

The second book is

Timber by Leslie Falconer and Chris Lensch

Summary: A lumberjack is cutting down tress, animals lose homes. The lumberjack plants new trees after seeing what he has done.

Review: My children, even the older ones like this book.  The pictures are fun and they talked about the habitat of the animals and what happens when it disappears. They were very glad to see new trees planted.
My preschooler loves the dance at YouTube -- DanceandBeatsLab: Lumberjack that goes along with the song at the back of this book.  (side note: Dance and Beats is a movement and dance DVD series that Mother Goose Time uses as an extra option to their monthly themes)

  The third book will be

Does A Bear Wear a Hat in the Winter by Leslie Falconer and Kelly Nogoski

Review: A very silly book as you can see. My preschool and 1st grader loved it.  I think their favorite pages were the "No!" pages they screamed it.  At least they now how to read when they see explanation point.  They learned that animals have the perfect covering and bodies for their habitats

The Final and fourth book that the winner will receive is....

Nursery Rhymes pictures by Chris Lensch

Classic Mother Goose nursery rhymes that you and your child know put on a page with adorable drawings.

PeekaPak Box Review

A couple days ago we received a Peek-A-Pak box in the mail.  Little Mr. Independent was so excited about it, being the first box we have received.  Here are some pictures of him with the book and activities.  The book was about robots.  How cool is that.  Since receiving the box, I have read the book that came with it at least three times a day.

Things little Mr Independent and I talked about when reading the book.
What is a robot?
How does / ways our body moves?
Keep trying!
Robo Block Activity.  No Mr. "I" didn't color these.

Mr. "I" building his robot arm.
Finished robot arm, now to take the cup off the wooden ball under the cup.  Yeah!! I did it mom!

The Book, background scene with one wooden character,  Robo block activity

I am not being compensated by this review.  Just wanted to share our review of this activity box.
